Greenkeeper's Landscapes make
design decisions which are dependent on proposed uses for landscape
lighting...for safety, security, property value, or enhancement
of the beauty of the garden and structures. Most likely, the design
will be based on a combination of two or more of these uses. A
specific technique can be employed to satisfy more than one requirement...for
example, uplighting a prominent tree near the house entrance will
provide safety, security and aesthetic enhancement.
During the daylight hours, passers-by marvel
at the beautiful landscape you've created. Don't let the darkness
cover it up.

After mulch, lighting is the perfect
finishing touch to landscaping. Lighting can really make a
dramatic impact in the landscape, especially when featuring
the old oak, water pond or flower garden. Lighting accents
what we deem to be the most important features in the landscape.
On the other hand, we can keep in the dark those things we
wish weren't there or that happen to be less attractive.
